American Integrity Restoration to Host Disaster Preparedness Workshops and Open House
Glastonbury, CT – In honor of National Preparedness Month, American Integrity Restoration, LLC (AIR) will be hosting our second Disaster Planning and Preparedness Workshop and Open House event on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 10-3 PM. The event if FREE and certificates for attendance will be provided to attendees.
In light of the recent hurricanes, we felt moved to provide a disaster planning event for both the public and private sector to discuss preparation and also asbestos and mold awareness during the clean up process. We will have Dr. Ed Goldberg here from Eversource to discuss the private sectors plan and response to disasters from 10-noon. Chief Marc Scrivener from the Williamantic Fire Department will be here to discuss the public sectors view from 1-3pm. We will be offering two sessions (morning and afternoon) of an OSHA approved class for Asbestos and Mold Awareness with Mike Tortora form Quality Air Services, LLC.
AIR is pleased to invite local businesses, insurance agents, risk managers and property owners to our Glastonbury office for an opportunity to tour the facility, meet our staff, and attend a variety of educational speaking sessions presented by industry experts. Speaking topics will include general disaster preparedness planning and reactionary practices, fire departments and the private sector’s perspectives on preparing for the worst, as well as Asbestos and Mold Awareness – how to address these two environmental/safety issues. This event also includes vendors and free refreshments.
AIR looks forward to making new connections and providing valuable tools that every business or property owner needs when faced with an extreme weather event or other disaster situation.
Free registration continues until Friday, September 22, 2017. Anyone interested in registration should contact Allegra at aweir@1CallAIR.com.
